Asymptotic-Safety & Gauge-Coupling Unification in RFT
Abstract
Extends the FRG analysis to two loops, confirming a stable UV fixed point that keeps gravity and the scalaron finite, shows quantum gravity drives all three SM gauge couplings to a common safe point near 10¹⁶ GeV, and validates the full SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) twistor-lattice implementation on a 4 × 4 grid.
Key Results
- Two-loop FRG finds UV fixed point with only two relevant directions
- Gravity renders U(1)₍Y₎ asymptotically safe and unifies gauge couplings at ~10¹⁶ GeV
- 4×4 twistor lattice reproduces massless gluons, chiral zero-modes, and correct EWSB pattern
